This place in Budapest is absolutely wonderful! It has such a cozy, authentic atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The food is bursting with incredible flavors – every dish is rich, delicious, and a true taste of Hungarian cuisine. On top of that, the service is outstanding: warm, friendly, and attentive without being overwhelming. A special shoutout to Márk and Zoli – they are fantastic waiters, incredibly kind, helpful, and truly deliver five-star service. Lovely café in the park! It has a super cozy glass veranda where it’s a pleasure to sit in any weather — to enjoy the golden autumn or to hide from the rain. The food is delicious, and the service is very polite and friendly. A perfect spot to relax and take in the atmosphere!

A truly lovely place with very friendly staff drinks were served up very elegantly and it felt very special. We only popped by for a drink but we wished we had eaten there. The food looked amazing and the atmosphere was so relaxed. What a find! If you are visiting Heroes square head for the steaming carp filled lake and come to this great place. Thank you

If you’re choosing between Paprika and Nyereg étterem, my advice is – go for Nyereg! Paprika feels overrated, often crowded with long waits, while Nyereg offers a better location in the beautiful City Park (Városliget), more space, a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere with no waiting. The food is tastier and better presented, and the staff are quick, extremely friendly, and attentive. A perfect spot to enjoy both a meal and the surroundings.

The staff is super nice! We said we would have loved to taste goulash but it was too hot, so we ordered something different. But they still brought us a little bowl just to taste it. The food is good, a little overpriced, but it seems normal in Budapest nowadays. I would definitely come back
